How will my Halocoture Extensions stay on without clips or bindings?

Please refer to Halo’s Instructional Video: “How To Fit Your Extensions”. Your Halocoture Extensions are custom fit and sits on top of your head like a Halo. The miracle wire sits about an inch to three inches behind your hairline and the back of the hair extensions slides down just at or on top of the occipital bone. The perfect fit will be snug and comfortable and will ensure no movement of the Halo Extension. After you gently pull your hair out and over to cover your entire Halo Extension, including the miracle wire, the weight of your hair lying on top of the Halo Extension, will keep it secure and in place. You will be able to shake your head without your extensions coming off.

What products can I use on my Halo?

Halocoture Extension Care is the only product line we recommend to safely care for your Halo Extensions. Each product was designed to refresh, restore, and protect the keratin seal on the 100% Remy Human Hair. It’s specifically formulated to extend the life of your Halocoture Extensions. Paired with our Halocoture Silk Spritz and Hairspray you have the perfect combination of products for your Halocoture Extensions.

Can I style & blend my extensions?

Yes, because Halocoture Extensions are 100% Remy human hair, you or your stylist may style as you would your natural hair. For stylists: if your client has long layers you may want to texturize and layer the Halo Extension while your client is wearing it. If your client has a blunt hairstyle, you may need to texturize and layer your client’s hair and then texturize and layer the Halo Extension while it’s on your client’s head.

Can I swim in my Extensions?

It is not recommended to swim in your Halo Extensions primarily because it does not use weaving, clips, or glue to directly attach to your existing hair. Halo Extensions are designed to fit snugly on your head and be held in place securely with the aid of your existing hair. If you submerge your head in water, the extensions may float up off your head similar to the way it’s designed to be removed.

Can I color my Halo Couture Extensions?

Yes, you can deposit color. Because Halo Couture Extensions are 100% Remy human hair, you or your stylist may color as you would your natural hair. However, since some color brands may work differently, we recommend you test the color with a few strands in a discrete area of the Halo Extension first. Note, some colorists have found that washing and air-drying the Halo Couture extensions before coloring helps the hair take the color more effectively. We do not recommend stripping the Halo Extension of color (bleach or lightening). We can not guarantee the outcome of this and it could dry out the Halo Extension or possibly ruin it.

Can I perm my Halo Couture Extensions?

We do not recommend perming your Halo Extension. Perms can be harsh and this will dry out and compromise the integrity of the Halo Extension. The Halo Extension is 100% Remy Human Hair, but because it is not getting the same natural nutrients as your natural hair, perming chemicals may not react well with the Halo Extension or be as forgiving as your natural hair.

What is Single Drawn Hair?

Single Drawn hair means the extensions contain multiple lengths of hair mixed into the extensions, resulting in hair that is thickest at the top, tapers at the middle and is more natural and feathered on the ends.

What if my Halo doesn't feel secure or the miracle wire snapped?

That’s okay! Each piece has an extra miracle wire in the original box it came in. If the wire feels loose or very tight that means you may need to customise it. Please refer to Halo’s Instructional video How to: Custom Fit your Halocouture wire!

How do I choose between an Original Halo or a Layered Halo?

The Original and Layered HALO® has been designed to be virtually undetectable and fit comfortably. With choosing the correct HALO® you want to make sure you are following these two steps. 

Step One

Fine to medium density= an original Halo

Medium-density that you are unsure of = an original Halo or a Layered Halo

Medium to thick density = a Layered Halo

Pro Tip- This is to match the client's natural density and ensure the most seamless blend. 

StepTwo: Choosing the length 

Staying within 4 inches of their natural hair to ensure the best blend and when a client is wanting to double their length advising them to use a Halo and a Fall  will help with the transition from their natural hair to their Halo 

Both the Original and Layered Halo are single-drawn hair extensions however, the Layered Halo has more stack wefts built in it to provide the extra density it needs.

Can I sleep in my Extensions?

Since your Halo Couture Extensions are so simple to remove and put back on, we recommend that you remove your Halo Extension and hang it up before going to sleep to best preserve its custom style. Then you can quickly and easily wear your Halo Extension again upon waking. In the event you may fall asleep while wearing your Halo Extension, it will not harm you or your Halo Couture extensions.

Can I wear a Halo if I already have Extensions?

Yes, you can certainly wear multiple extensions at the same time. Keep in mind, each of our extensions is the equivalent of a full head of hair. That said, you can enjoy double or triple the luxurious volume that you would achieve with multiple extensions if you so desire.

Will extensions damage my hair?

We cannot speak for all extension products on the market, but we can confidently say that Halo Couture Extensions will NOT damage your hair. There is no complicated and lengthy process, no weaving, no clips, no glue. Halo Couture Extensions easily attach with a miracle wire that is quickly customized to fit your head in just a few short minutes. The great news is that there is no sacrifice in quality or quantity. How long will my Halo Couture last?

Depending on how often the piece is being worn as well as the care given to the Halo Couture Extensions.  Being that this is a Human Hair product there is not a guaranteed time frame that the Halo Extension will last. This is an estimate based on the best quality care being given to the Halo Extension.
